Every release, including what we broke.
Each entry says which EA changed, what was fixed, and whether the release makes the EA trade more, less or the same. Trading frequency is how we are paid, so it is never left out.
Holiday calendar and a whipsaw guard at the open.
- Added
Stand-down on UK and US bank holidays, read from the calendar file installed with the EA.
- Changed
If both pending orders would fill inside one M30 bar, both are now cancelled. Previously the second fill was closed at a loss.
- Fixed
After a terminal restart between 07:00 and 10:00, Hinge could place a second pair of pending orders for the same morning. It now reads its own open orders before placing any.
- Added
Clearer journal messages and a licence fix.
- Changed
Every stand-down now writes one line to the Experts journal saying which rule applied and the value that triggered it.
- Fixed
Accounts whose number had a leading zero were reported as unlicensed on MT4. The licence check now compares the full account number as text.
- Known issue
On some MT4 builds the journal line is written twice. It is cosmetic; trading is not affected. A fix is in testing.
- Changed
Default spread cap lowered after the forward test.
- Changed
Default MaxSpreadPoints lowered. In the forward test, trades opened near the old cap lost more often than the backtest predicted. Lull now sits out more nights.
- Fixed
The forced close at 07:00 used the terminal's clock rather than the server's. On terminals in another time zone, positions could stay open past the session.
- Changed
Swap filter and a separate gold spread cap.
- Added
MaxSwapPoints input. Ledge will not open a multi-day position whose overnight charge is above the cap.
- Added
GoldMaxSpread input, so XAUUSD no longer shares the currency pairs' spread cap.
- Fixed
The circuit breaker measured drawdown from the starting balance instead of peak equity, so it triggered later than documented. It now uses peak equity, as the docs always said.
- Added
A requested feature we decided not to ship.
- Removed
The beta "recovery multiplier" option, which raised the lot size after a loss, has been removed from every EA. It made losing streaks larger and increased trading volume, which pays us more. It will not come back.
- Fixed
MaxTradesPerSession could be set above its documented range by editing a saved set file. Out-of-range values are now refused when the EA starts.
- Removed
First public release of Ledge, MT5 only.
- Added
Ledge: H4 trend-pullback EA for USDJPY, AUDUSD and XAUUSD.
- Known issue
Not available for MT4. Ledge needs MT5's per-symbol swap information and hedging-account handling.
- Added
