Three expert advisors, one temperament.
Each EA trades one idea on a few liquid symbols, and each one is defined as much by when it stays out as by when it trades. None of them grid, average down or raise size after a loss.
Pick by the market you understand
Lull trades small reversals inside the Asian-session range on two low-spread pairs. It needs a narrow, orderly range to do anything at all, so most nights it does nothing.
Not for
Anyone who wants activity. On a typical week Lull opens only a handful of trades, and some weeks none.
Hinge waits for the overnight range to compress, then takes at most one breakout when London opens. If the night was already wide, or the morning calendar is crowded, the day is skipped.
Not for
Anyone who expects a trade every day. Hinge skips most mornings and can go a fortnight without an entry.
Ledge only acts when a trend on the four-hour chart is already clear, and then only on a pullback to a level the trend has respected before. In ranges and choppy weeks it holds nothing.
Not for
Anyone uncomfortable holding a losing position for several days, or who cannot run a terminal around the clock.

Forward-test results are past performance on one live account at one broker. Your results will differ with your broker, account type, terminal, settings and start date. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

What every Quietbar EA shares
All three run on a licence tied to an account at Ferncastle Markets (fictional broker), read the same calendar file, and write the same kind of journal line when they stand down.
- Lot size from RiskPerTrade and the stop distance. There is no fixed-lot input.
- A hard stop-loss on every position, sent with the order, not held in the EA's memory.
- A daily or weekly loss limit, after which the EA stands down on its own.
- A spread cap. Above it, the EA does not open anything.
- A MagicNumber, so it never touches your manual trades or another EA's.
- A SymbolSuffix input for brokers that name symbols like EURUSD.r.
- State read from the account on start, so a restart does not open a duplicate trade.
